Details

Flies engineered to overexpress methionine sulfoxide reductase A (MSRA) have a median lifespan up to 70% longer than parental controls that don\'\'t overexpress the protein.

Other phenotypes: Flies that overexpress MSRA retain reproductive capacity longer than parental controls that don\'\'t overexpress the protein, and are more active, as measured by a climbing assay.
